A portable way to do background checks

I have always thought about being able to dig up info on people when I'm out in public... Like, you're at a party and some dude hits on you, and you want to know if you're dealing with a genuinely classy guy or a total skeez before you give him privy info...or you are talking about needing a sitter for your kids for that upcoming 3 day concert you're interested in, but you just dont know if you can trust your uncle's best friends cousin. Look. We've all been there. I found an app that you download to your phone (https://www.peoplefinders.com) that allows you to not ONLY take your background checks to go... But also will check in on your contacts, give you info on numbers who call you and risks associated with them, and keep you updated on the people in your life. If you are interested in being "in-the-know" when it comes to our new technological lifestyles, get the app. to

Influenster Keurig K250 2.0 brewer review

I was given the AMAZING opportunity to test this lovely new Keurig K250 2.0 brewer through Influenster and Keurig in the #HelloKeurig mission. I have been using an old school Hamilton Beach brewer with a carafe for years now. Seeing that I am the only person in my house that drinks coffee, I waste a lot by having to make a whole pot for just me. Let me tell you, when you are used to using an old fashioned brewer, this is DELUXE. After removing it from the box, there is some]tape that needs to be removed that ensured that nothing was broken during shipment and removing the shipping disk. There is a filter included that took some preparation before inserting it into the water tank. I plugged it in and was ready to go. When it turns on, it immediately prompts you to fill the water. Okay. I filled the tank (located in the back of the brewer) and it went to the main screen. It starts humming and screen says "preheating". This screen gives you the option to brew different strengths and cup sizes. You can brew 4oz, 6oz, 8oz or 10oz. If you like your coffee strong, its a simple push of the touchscreen button and you're brewing strong. Next step, insert Keurig pod. Influenster was nice enough to include and entire box of Green Mountain Coffee samplers with 22 pods. There were 4 different kinds: French Roast, Vermont Country Blend, Breakfast Blend and Dark Magic. Keurig included a 6 pack sampler of pods as well. This sampler included Green Mountain Coffee-Hazelnut, Green Mountain Coffee- Nantucket Blend, Barista Prima Coffeehouse-Italian Roast, Starbucks-Pike Place Roast, Donut House Collection- Donut House Coffee  and Celestial Seasonings- English Breakfast Tea. For my first brew, I chose a simple Green Mountain Coffee Breakfast Blend. Okay, good. I lift the handle, put the coffee pod in and close the lid. Now I get to choose what size cup of coffee I want. Default settings is 8oz. Sounds good to me. I push the Keurig button and it starts whirring. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. The drip pan must be inserted into the machine or it wont work. You do have the option to purchase a carafe and brew a whole carafe, but the machine will be able to tell if you are brewing a cup or a carafe based on whether the drip pan is there or the carafe is attached. Okay, so... pushed the button, whirring... coffee starts coming out into my cup. The end of the brew kind of reminds me of what a good friend compared to the Everlasting Gobstopper Machine in Willie Wonka. Yes. Spot on. Well, here we are. At the crossroads of coffee. Its do or die time. I prepare my coffee as I usually do. First sip...tastes... great! Given, it tastes pretty similar to almost EVERY OTHER cup of coffee Ive ever had, but it was simple to make, no pre measuring and each cup has the potential to be a whole new experience. I have to admit that that was never an option with my previous brewer. As far as the brewer itself, its more high tech than I'm used to, but I can absolutely see the attraction to the brand. A built in water filter? Descaling solution? They even included a needle cleaner tool. I don't even know what that DOES, but it sounds fancy. I am in love with the fact that its small enough (Ive seen some pretty large Keurig machines) to fit easily underneath my cupboards and on top of my new pod keeper. This particular model did not come with a carafe, but you can buy them on Amazon for about $27 for a basic model. If you are eco friendly, there are already options on the market for both reusable single and carafe pods. All in all, Im pretty satisfied with this brewer and the Keurig brand.

Welcome to the Jungle, baby!

Hello everyone. Welcome to my madhouse! This is my first attempt at a blog, so bear with me. I figured that since I started doing reviews almost a year ago, that it was about time to jump on the bandwagon and start sharing the info with my followers and not just Amazon customers. This blog is not only for product reviews. I will be reading some books and will reviews on those as well. Also, as usual for me, there will be the occasional rant and random story or two. Hey, it wouldnt be ME without those! Those of you who actually know me, know that I am a recently married mother of 2. I am a full time employee and a part time student. I am Pagan and I support equal rights for all, especially the LGBT community. I am brutally honest and LOVE to learn as much as possible. I am willing to share that knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen, keep an open mind and ask questions. As I stated above, I recently got into the "freebie" community, and Im hooked!

First off, the most often asked the question  is "Did you really get all of that stuff free/cheap"?

My answer is an astounding YES!

I've been learning a lot in the last year, and doing a lot of reviews. As of recent, Ive even gotten to do some fun ones including sex toys to French Coffee Presses. Being a "reviewer" has the perks of not only getting free/cheap stuff, but also allows me to try new things that I may not have tried before due to cost/interest factors. If I try something and I dont particularly care for it, I will pass it on to someone I know who WILL like it.

I know how intimidating the freebie/giveaway world can be, so I want to make it all as easy as possible for anyone interested. The biggest thing I can tell you all is that you get what you put into it. If you dont work, then you have all day to enter giveaways, snag the discounts/freebies and do the surveys/quickhits. You will be the first to get the emails about the parties. With that level of activity, you will see a lot of return. If you're like me, then you dont have all day to sit and wait, so you will miss out on a lot, but dont get discouraged. I still get PLENTY. Last Christmas, I was able to give over $600 worth of stuff and I spent less than $300 out of pocket. I will also let you know that I only started in June, so there is even MORE opportunity to earn.

Remember that beyond my blog, there are many Facebook communities that you can search for that help with freebies (just type free, freebies, samples, reviews into the search field) and start looking. There are sites like Crowdtap, BzzAgent, Smiley360 and Houseparty that do "missions" to try products, hand out samples and coupons, and review. There are survey sites that offer money in return for answers such as Opinion Outpost and Valued Opinion. If you like to shop online, something like Ebates or TopCashBack would be good for you. If you're into savings, Shop Your Way Rewards may be more for you. Maybe you're like me and want to try out new products from up-and-coming businesses. There are PLENTY of Amazon Review sites on Facebook. You just interested in giveaways or Twitter parties? Type in "Giveaways" or "Contests" in the search bar.

That's really about it. I hope that this little "tutorial" has been helpful. Look forward to providing some nice product reviews, tips and rants to you all as they come! Thanks for the add!
